save/load on VET

Post by Lost »

Hey,
last time I was trying my skills on VET.
Could someone tell me why sometimes save/load commands don't work?
Am I the only one who has this problem and if not, how to resolve it?

Thanks & greetings!

While the timer is running:
- save2 won't work (you have to save2 your position before timer starts )
- load2 will reset you timer and place you to save2 position.
- save will work
- load will place you to save slot without resetting your timer.

I suppose that the save slot is deleted when a timer starts running (save2 slot is not). You should use it only when the timer is running - for example on long paths like the LNA Trickjump map.

Hope you understand something. If not, let me know.

Oh my, please don't say this is true. You can actually load position during the run without timer stopping? That's just... Lame.

thanks mr scientist

i dont see whats so bad about that, it gives everyone the opportunity to set times without having to climb ladders a million times
also the better you get the less you will fail/need save/load and you will get better times without
i think its nice

I hope there's at least some kind of time value how soon you can load after saving. Think about the moments when you're about to crush your feet or when you need to make a stop fast (to stay on top of a pole in choco's railgun jump for example), you could just abuse saveload to save a shitload of time/tries.

Brb making a one button instant speed stopping script and pwning all the original tj map times.
