how to save anything i worked more then an hour, saved and when i loaded i lost everything

I have the same problem, the thing I do when I want to make a new map : I copy another .map (like firstroom.map because its in the mapping ide) then I paste it (in etmain/maps) and rename it then I open radiant.bat and load that new .map, remove everything and start mapping.

save it and dont close it so it gets the name you want it to have and then wait for autosave to overwrite the empty file

Have you tried just using "save as" and then type nameofmymap.map

You need that .map at the end otherwise I also get an empty file.

You better contact ninjadeer if you want to be a part of the Summercup - he is organizing it. (he's also known as Thei ingame)

i just make the map and ill see anyone likes it
if no-one does it deosnt matter

how to open a map with console??

/devmap mapname
or
/map mapname.

But if u are using the mapping IDE, I recommend u to use MS.exe (Map starter)
