I was browsing some old topics and finally found this tutorial again:

I've been looking for this for quite some time, when you have a light behind a grate you can make a really cool effect with the shadow.

The light is flashing + the nice shadow. (Although the map maker said he had some troubles with lighting in the map thanks to the dynamic lights)
